Congratulations to Malavika on achieving the Student of the Year Award. Her dedication, vibrant leadership, and all-round excellence truly define what it means to shine in every sphere.
23/08/2026At Al Diyafah High School LLC, we understand that choosing your child's school is one of the most important decisions a family makes and we aim to be that school of choice. We will endeavour to support you if you are new to Abu Dhabi, and help your family settle in.
We have over 60 nationalities within the school and over 43 spoken languages. We also have a diverse group of teachers from all over the world including the UK, Ireland, South Africa and the Indian subcontinent. All our teachers have been recruited through a stringent selection process and understand our school’s ethos and vision.
As an International School we understand the importance of helping students to settle in and make new friends quickly. What is unique to our school is our English as an Additional Language (EAL) program, which helps children whose English is not their first language to gain access to the curriculum as quickly as possible.
We also have a range of age-appropriate programmes which we adapt to suit each child to get them off to a great start.

At Al Diyafah High School LLC, we are committed to on-going learning and professional development with our staff both teaching and non-teaching faculty.
Our teachers are encouraged to attend accredited courses to enhance their pedagogy. Along with this, our teachers receive in-house training each week on topics which are related to the successful delivery of the School Improvement Plan and enhancing their knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
To further improve the quality of teaching and learning at Diyafah, our Leadership Team work in collaboration with the teaching staff, monitoring lesson planning and carrying out regular observations to classes.
We value and encourage a continuous feedback and dialogue with parents or simply being there as our partner in your child's development. Our values inculcated throughout their school life allows our students to become role models to each other while in school and most importantly carry this on as positive, well-grounded individuals who develop as future leaders and remember to give back to society.

Our KS1 children had a wonderful time exploring music with tambourines, shakers, and maracas. As they created rhythms and followed beats together, they developed creativity, listening skills, coordination, and teamwork. A fun and engaging experience that boosted confidence, self-expression, and a love for music!
